Last week, on March 14th, I went from Warsaw to Katowice for the joint event between Meet.js and Gamedev.js, a meetup we organized together - not the first one, and definitely not the last.
I was invited to be a mentor at the Edukaton, a hackathon that was aiming to teach how not to get scammed - it was held on February 16th-18th in Warsaw.
Another monthly report delayed by three weeks - I really hope I'll catch up with the writing at some point.
I'm not sure if it's possible to go even deeper, but during the last weekend of January 2018 there was an event inside an event, that was part of the bigger event.
New year started some time ago already, so let's look back at the past twelve months and see what happened, good or bad. If you want to have a good laugh be sure to check my predictions and plans from 2015 and 2016 - some of them crashed into a wall pretty hard.
December is usually less intensive because of the holidays and the end of the year - mine was quite packed though.
This monthly report is delayed three weeks - it shows how busy my schedule was. There still was a lot of work with the js13kGames competition, but at least it's finally getting to an end. Also, the last Gamedev.js Warsaw meetup this year happened.
Last meetup this year was held on Tuesday, November 28th in the same place as usual. It was also the very first one I haven't led personally, because I had laryngitis and couldn't say a word.
The Gamedev.js YouTube channel reached 100 subscribers, so I was able to finally change the channel's url to a memorable one instead of a random string, and the Gamedev.js Weekly newsletter reached 200 issues, so I decided it's a good excuse to do a little review of other Gamedev.js-related numbers.
Even though the js13kGames competition ended, there's still plenty of work to be done. I did manage to do some other things in the meantime though.
