I'm always excited to see my gamedev related Open Source work being used by others - the most recent case is Monster Wants Candy demo (a base for the tutorial) helping with a master thesis about cognitive processes!
Meet.js Summit is the very first conference I gave talk at, all the way back in 2012, so a decade later I was quite happy to be able to join the 2022 edition as a speaker again.
More than a week ago I was speaking at the Game Industry Conference that was held during the Poznań Game Arena on October 5-8th 2017 in Poznań, Poland.
Just like a year ago, I visited Poznań to give a gamedev talk. This time, instead of Firefox OS, I presented about WebVR.
As expected, September was full of work on the js13kGames competition. I was able to travel a little bit in the meantime, but it wasn't much - I visited Lublin and Berlin.
Monthly report for the first month of 2015, January, is here. There’s more to be documented than in December, but the budget is still “behind the schedule”, to say it softly. My main priority right now is to finish, close and monetize two cilent projects “I’m working on” for far too long already.
Many major cities in the world hosted Global Game Jam this past weekend. I was at the Poznań Game Jam promoting HTML5 and JavaScript as the technology of choice to create the games, along with Firefox OS as the perfect mobile platform for the job.
We’ve attended the Poznan Game Jam last weekend, part of the Global Game Jam happening all over the world, and created a mini game called Postmen of the Galaxy which you can play online. The prototype for something bigger that we’re planning to finish later on was created using Phaser.
December report will be short as Christmas practically took over half of the month.
The summary for November is not so good: fightnig with clients to get the money for my work, doing lots of unrelated stuff, fixing bugs, low interest of publishers in buying licenses for our games, no time for Wizard Quest development. At the beginning of 2015 I will have to revise my plans for the future.
