I'm staying in the GitHub Stars program for another year! I wasn't sure this will be extended for the fourth time, since at the very beginning the plan was to have any given Star for a maximum of three years in the program and then automatically turn them into an alumni.
It's my third year as a GitHub Star, but due to Covid this was the very first opportunity to actually go to San Francisco for Nova, the in-person conference exclusively for all the Stars, instead of watching it remotely like in previous years.
After half a year of no activity we got back with the W3C Games CG meetup last week on April 18th, this time with Sandy Aggarwal talking about Hyperledger's MESIG gaming subgroup. It was also the very first W3C Games meetup with me as co-chair.
I'm happy and proud to say that my GitHub Star status was renewed for the third year, extending my stay in the program for the whole 2023!
I'm always excited to see my gamedev related Open Source work being used by others - the most recent case is Monster Wants Candy demo (a base for the tutorial) helping with a master thesis about cognitive processes!

After going through the Grant for the Web blog posts a few times looking for details of a few grantees I realized I'm missing a list of all the creators awarded with a grant in one place, and since I couldn't find anything, I decided... to do one myself.
It's this time of the month again - let's see if Christmas got in the way of doing some cool gamedev stuff in December.
I've open sourced the Enclave Phaser Template a few days ago while working on the new version of Captain Rogers, and realized that Enclave Games already have a few open source projects, so it would be cool to list them all on one page.
