Second cohort of the Kernel program, first one game-themed, ended up already, so it's time to summarize all the sessions that we had over those past few weeks.
I was invited to be a judge in The Web Monetization Challenge 2020 organized by Björn Ritzl from the Defold Foundation, and since the concept of having your own top 5 games ended up quite well for the experts in js13kGames 2020, I decided to do that myself too.
Last week, on Tuesday October 20th, we had a W3C Games Community Group meeting at TPAC 2020 that was held online, and I was talking about Web Monetization in HTML5 games.
I was so happy to see the projects I was rooting for in the first Grant for the Web open Call for Proposals were accepted and announced.
Last week I had a great opportunity to meet with many folks from various companies at the W3C workshop on Web games which was held in Microsoft's office in Redmond to discuss the future of Web game development.
