Becoming W3C Games Community Group co-chair

I'm excited to announce that I was accepted as a co-chair into the W3C Games Community Group, joining Tom Greenaway from Google and Noël Meudec from Meta, with the support of François Daoust from W3C.

JSNation 2022 in Amsterdam

I was part of the JS Gamedev Summit conference's Program Committee, which was held purely virtual at the beginning of April, so when the JSNation conference (from the same organizers, GitNation) was going to happen in a hybrid form on June 16th, I was invited to visit Amsterdam and participate in person, which I did.

This time during our bi-monthly W3C Games Community Group meetup that happened June 22nd we had three presentations: Godot's and Pixi's history and future, and an update from Coil about the upcoming Web Monetization Workshop and the Rafiki project.

Exactly two weeks ago, on October 26th, I've visited Yggdrasil's office in Kraków to represent Gamedev.js initiative and give a talk about mixing up realities using Progressive Web Apps and board games.

Gamedev hackathon at the Poznań Game Jam

Many major cities in the world hosted Global Game Jam this past weekend. I was at the Poznań Game Jam promoting HTML5 and JavaScript as the technology of choice to create the games, along with Firefox OS as the perfect mobile platform for the job.

onGameStart 2013 - the aftermath

After my talk at the RejectJS conference about Firefox OS and HTML5 games in which I showed Captain Rogers being ported to the Mozilla mobile operating system I thought I'll spend the rest of the month being an attendee at onGameStart and chill out with my friends. But in the meantime there was another event on the way.
