Another monthly report delayed by three weeks - I really hope I'll catch up with the writing at some point.
New year started some time ago already, so let's look back at the past twelve months and see what happened, good or bad. If you want to have a good laugh be sure to check my predictions and plans from 2015 and 2016 - some of them crashed into a wall pretty hard.
After missing out on Mozilla's All Hands in Hawaii and San Francisco (although I was at GDC 2017 a few months earlier), I was invited to Austin in Texas (planned to be Cancun in Mexico, but was moved because of the earthquakes), and was super excited to meet the 'new' Emerging Technologies team.
May was a busy month for all kinds of Gamedev.js events in Warsaw - from a workshop, through hackathon, to a special edition of the meetup.
The year 2016 is already over, so let's see how it went. Was it bad? Better than 2015? Good? See for yourself.
I was able to start something I wanted to do for the past couple of years already - Gamedev.js workshops, so November can definitely be considered a good month.
I've just completed writing another quite big update for MDN Games - this time about implementing controls in HTML5 games using Captain Rogers: Battle at Andromeda demo as a case study and explained the source code of the pure JavaScript demo in detail.
September was a busy month, even more busy than August - you can tell by looking at how many posts were published between those two reports: exactly six.
It was a game development hackathon that happened on September 24th at CVSR College of Engineering in Hyderabad, India and was organized by Harsha Bandaru - Mozilla Representative in that area.
August (and the first half of September) was so busy that this monthly report had to wait way longer than usual to be written and published.
