Enclave Games

As you may already figured out I’m lately more into HTML5 mobile games rather than front-end development. That’s why Enclave Games was born - it is an Indie Game Development studio focused on mobile HTML5 games. It’s one-man-army for now, I’ll focus on mobile HTML5 games for some time and see what happens.

That doesn’t mean I’ll leave the blog and everything, I just want to spend more time on the gaming side of JavaScript. I will still write here about front-end related stuff, so no worries.

Anyway, the first game is already here - Captain Rogers is targeted for the Firefox OS devices and is already published in the Firefox Marketplace. I was working on the coding part and the graphics was made by Robert Podgórski from BlackMoon Design. We’re working on the next title which will be Craigen - side-scroller with the barbarian running and smashing everything on his way. Then I’ll get back to the first project I was working on with Robert, Wizard Quest, and this time I will make sure to finish it.

There are other things like blogging, writing gamedev articles for portals (two on the way), taking care of the second edition of js13kGames, trying to organize a meetup under the Gamedev.js brand and so on. I still want to be part of the community, so flying around as a speaker is high on my list. I won’t be bored, that’s for sure, but I don’t know how it’ll all go. That’s why it’s so much fun to try it!
